Here at H&M Motorworks we offer a full-range of services to tackle the full-range of problems you can encounter with your car. But never to worry, we are here for your peace of mind! We honor all extended warranties and utilize the latest technology and informational resources to repair your vehicle to factory specifications. We subscribe to both ALLDATA and Mitchell On-Demand, leading providers of automotive repair information and solutions to the professional automotive service industry. Below is just a short listing of the services we offer for your vehicle:

Air-Conditioning Services:

  • Whether your car has an old R-12, or newer — and more common — R-134A system (or whether you have no idea which your car has), it doesn’t matter. H&M’s technicians are trained to handle all A/C systems. We have, on-hand, the latest specialty machines for both reclamation and recycling of your vehicle’s freon.
  • We can do simple a recharge for you if your A/C doesn’t seem to tackle the hot Arizona summer as well as it used to, or a complete system overhaul if your car’s air-conditioning has given out completely.
  • Have a van or an SUV with multiple climate-control zones? Not a problem.
  • Do you turn on your blower and a bad odor arises? We offer BG Frigi-Fresh services, as well, to quickly and effectively eliminate foul, musty odors from automobile air-conditioning systems. It kills mold, mildew, and other odor-producing organisms that grow in the evaporator core and housing.

Alignments:

  • All alignments done at H&M Motorworks use the latest computerized technology and wheel spin-balancing to give accurate results that ensure even tire-wear and the best driving response for your 2-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive vehicle. As long as it isn’t 18-wheel drive, we can align it.

Brake Services:

  • From 4-wheel disc brakes, ABS brakes, regular disc or regular drum brakes, and even master cylinders, we offer a wide-array of brake services at H&M.
  • We can resurface any style of drum or rotor, and replace any kind of pad or shoe to make sure your car is stopping the way it should, keeping you safe as you drive down the road.

  • No matter what your car wants to call it (check engine, service engine soon, maintenance required, MIL, ABS, or SRS), those pesky lights all mean the same thing, your car needs to be fixed. If only it told you what needed to be fixed. That’s where we come in. At H&M, we make sense of all those lights on your dash using our latest industry-standard Snap-On VERUS® Diagnostic and Information System.
  • Domestic, Asian Import, European, and Heavy Duty vehicles are all easily treated. We get to the root of the problem and decipher any computer code or dashboard light for you.

Cooling System Services:

  • Your vehicle’s engine produces a lot of heat, and there is a whole complicated and involved system to combat that heat to make sure your car keeps running the way it should. From radiators, water pumps, thermostats, and the hoses that connect them; electric cooling fans or heater cores, these are all vital components to make sure your car doesn’t overheat and leave you stranded on the side of the road. We can make sure all these items are in proper working order before a problem arises, and if one does, we can set it right for you.

Electrical Systems:

  • Just like the lightbulbs in your house, the electrical equipment in your vehicle can, and eventually will, burn out and quit working. These are the components you depend on daily for even the most basic of automobile functions. Luckily, our ASE-certified technicians can set all electrical problems right.
  • We can diagnose and repair all starting and charging systems, such as your car’s battery, starter, or alternator to keep your battery charged. If there is a problem, we’ll make sure to take care of it, so you can depend on your vehicle to start whenever you turn the key.
  • There are many electric components in today’s vehicles: power windows and door locks, dashboard gauges and instrument clusters, SRS airbags, and of course your car’s lighting (inside and out), you can trust H&M Motorworks will fix any of these for you.

Factory-Scheduled Maintenance:

  • The most basic service you can schedule for your car, is now anything but. Every manufacturer now sets forth its own specific instructions as to the frequency of your vehicle’s routine maintenance and for the procedures to be undertaken when you hit the milestones of 30,000, 60,000, and 90,000 miles. At H&M Motorworks, you can expect us to carry out the same quality services and inspections that you would find at the dealer when handling any of your vehicle’s maintenance needs.

  • Sometimes the things you never think of can make the biggest difference to the life of your engine. Fuel injectors and their passages get dirty, in fact, very dirty. We offer cleanings of your fuel injector passages with our specially-formulated machines to help you achieve the maximum fuel efficiency for your vehicle.
  • We also offer an air-intake induction service to improve fuel economy, reduce environmentally damaging exhaust emissions, and restore the like-new drivability to your vehicle. We use BG’s Inject-A-Flush Apparatus with a three-part chemical treatment to quickly and safely clean fuel injectors and remove hard, baked-on carbon deposits from intake ports, intake valves, and combustion chambers. Think of it like unclogging your car’s arteries.

Glass Services:

  • A rock cracking your windshield as you drive down the freeway is a great way to kill your mood. At H&M Motorworks we offer full windshield repairs and replacements on any make and model of vehicle. We can even deal with your insurance company for you to save you hassle and time.
  • Though most Arizonans know the massive benefits of window tint, few know where to turn in order to get it done, and get it done right. We can tint any car or truck, with any grade darkness, no matter if it has pre-existing tint on the glass currently or not.

Power Steering Services:

  • Power steering is a feature most people will ignore until it fails and they find it almost impossible to steer their car without it. Like anything else in your car, though, the power steering does need maintenance, and can fail given time. That is why we offer simple services for upkeep like power steering fluid flushes and hose replacements; or full replacements of gear boxes, pumps, and rack-and-pinion units.

  • It doesn’t matter if it is a Dodge Cummins, Ford Powerstroke, GM Duramax, or Volkswagen TDI diesel, we can work on any kind of diesel engine at H&M Motorworks. Just because your vehicle is a different kind of beast at the pump, doesn’t mean it can’t get the same quality service from us.

Hybrid Automobiles:

  • The technicians at H&M Motorworks are not just quality ASE-certified, but they are also certified in all the latest technologies for gas/electric motor hybrids. You can expect all the services mentioned here to be readily available for this speciality vehicle.

Suspension Services:

  • As you put on thousands of miles on your car and its suspension system, inevitably, components wear down. To get your car back to its original great ride quality, we only use KYB or Bilstein products to repair your shocks, Chapman struts, or MacPherson struts; the best suspension components provide the best ride quality.
  • If you’re a Cadillac, Lincoln, or Mercury owner, we also service and repair your factory air-ride suspension systems typically found on these luxury vehicles.
  • Trucks and SUVs also have nothing to worry about. At H&M Motorworks we work on leaf spring suspensions, off-road suspension kits, hi and low, 2- and 4-wheel drive.
  • We also offer aftermarket installs of lowering kits or sway bars for your car or truck.

Tires/Wheels/Rims:

  • It doesn’t matter if you come to us with factory tires or custom wheels and rims, we can mount, rotate, repair, and adjust any style of wheel… aluminum or steel.
  • All wheels undergo computerized spin-balancing for accurate measuring of weight distribution, which allows us to check for any potential faults and give you the best ride possible.

Transmission Services:

  • One of the speciality services we offer at H&M Motorworks is our automatic transmission power flush. Where most shops only drain the fluid from your transmission’s fluid pan located on the underside of the transmission, we use the top-of-the line BG PF5 flush system to actually exchange all the old fluid within the entire transmission system with new and clean automatic transmission fluid. This process also includes several chemicals that wash through the system to break down accumulated gunk and condition the parts located within your transmission. This service fully maintains your transmission for optimal performance, the only way to do the job right.

Manual:

  • Manual transmissions are not forgotten at H&M. We offer both regular service and maintenance for your transmission, as well as complete transmission overhauls.
  • No matter if your clutch is mechanical with a cable or hydraulic with a master cylinder, we are able to completely repair your transmission problems.
